Island Veterinary Services is more than happy to help you and your pet prepare to travel. We hope to make this process as easy as possible for you and your family.

It is the owner’s responsibility to verify the requirements needed to travel to whichever designated country.

Island Veterinary services is responsible for your pet’s physical examination and medical assessment to confirm if he/she is fit and healthy to travel.

The Department of Agriculture will conduct the endorsement of your official travel documents on behalf of the Cayman Islands Government. This process usually takes 2-3 business days.

Please note that your pet will need a current Rabies Vaccination and Rabies Titre to return to the Cayman Islands. We highly recommend your pet receive a Rabies Vaccination before Leaving Island as it is now required to enter most countries.
