About Us
We’re a highly collaborative and supportive team, coming together to ensure our patients get the very best care, and everything needed to live a long and healthy life.
Island Veterinary Services opened its doors on December 24th 1994, too excited to wait until the holiday had passed Dr. Brenda Bush started her practice in the Eden Shopping Center on Walkers Rd. George Town, Grand Cayman. Immediately upon opening, a strong bond began to develop between the practice and the community. Not only were those initial days filled with establishing a quality practice, but also community service.
We are committed to helping improve the welfare of animals here in the Cayman Islands; building strong relationships with the Humane Society, ODAAT, CARE, and Feline Friends helping provide treatment, care and an intensive spay and neuter program. IVS also provides a program for all sick or injured wildlife to receive medical treatment along with participating in volunteer community programs and providing local schools with career day presentations and experience.
Island Veterinary Services recognized that our Sister Island Cayman Brac were sadly disadvantaged without a resident veterinarian, and it has been a great pleasure for us to provide this service sending a team of one doctor and nurse to provide animal health care to our sister Islands.
In 2009 Island Vet Services opened its doors to a state-of-the-art veterinary clinic located on 95 Printer Way in George Town, where we have been able to expand our family allowing us to work harder toward our common goal of providing the highest quality medical service to our patients.
